Next Steps
We are all called to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). There are several next steps you can take at SYVPC to develop your relationship with Jesus and get involved in our church family.
Get Baptized
Baptism is a sign and seal of God's work in our lives, our union with Jesus, and our entrance into God's family. Baptism is for all believers in Jesus and their children.
Join A Group
We were designed for community. One of the best ways to find fellowship is by participating in a small group that applies the Bible to their lives, prays together, supports each other through the ups and downs of life.
Become A Member
Church membership is our way of committing to our church family. We call our members covenant partners, because we recognize membership as participation in God's covenant community.
Share Your Faith
Find. Tell. Bring. Find someone in your life who doesn't know Jesus. Tell them about what God is doing in your life. And bring them to church or a ministry event. God wants to use you to point people to Jesus!
Serve
Every member is a minister! God has given every believer gifts to serve the church and our community. Discover how God can uniquely use you in the ministries of the church to further his Kingdom.
Give
Giving our tithes and offerings is an act of joy, gratitude, and worship to God. It is how we offer back a portion the finances God has given us in order to further his Kingdom in our church, our community, and the world.
